Hi, Dayo!

I have Joomla-1. 5. 26, gallery-2. 3. 2, joomG2-1. 1. 6 (files taken from Set 1 folder)

After installation when I click onto external link (http ://____/gallery2/) I see error 500 in the web browsers and nothing opens.

Can you help me resolve this?

Hi,
You will need to provide the specific error msg from your server (usually Apache) logs

I'm having the same problem, but when I go to view the error logs they are empty.
Joomla 2. 5. 11
JoomG2 1. 1. 6
Gallery version = 2. 3 core 1. 3. 0
API = Core 7. 54, Module 3. 9, Theme 2. 6, Embed 1. 5
PHP version = 5. 2. 17 cgi-fcgi

I followed the install instructions exactly. If I leave the JoomG2 module unactivated the link from Joomla works, but doesn't wrap any of the Joomla site around it. If I activate the module I then get a 500 error, or a blank white screen (depending on IE vs Firefox). To get back into the gallery I have to comment out the
/* Added Event: BeforeOutput */
include(dirname(__FILE__) . '/lib/events/Gallery_BeforeOutput. event');
piece in main. php.

unfortunately, without an error msg from the logs, I can't diagnose what may be going wrong here.

I think your error should be solved by v1.1.7.

See: http://capture360.net/joomg2/version-1-1-6-php-errors/msg939 which gave the error log output that allowed diagnosis.
