I have Drupal (v7. 21) and Gallery2 (v2. 3. 2 Typical) installed here:

Drupal Path (i. e. , Drupal's index. php is found here):
/homepages/19/d461496591/htdocs/com/mydomain/

Gallery2 Path (i. e. , Gallery2's index. php is found here):
/homepages/19/d461496591/htdocs/com/mydomain/gallery2/

I configured the Drupal Module by entering this as the Gallery2 path:
/homepages/19/d461496591/htdocs/com/mydomain/gallery2/

Drupal tells me that "Gallery2 must be installed under the same document root as Drupal"

I have tried and retried the installation three times now all with the same result of Drupal not being able to match up the two directories.   This is what I did, in the order that I did them:

- Upload and enable g2drupal module in Drupal (but not yet configured with path)
- Upload and install Gallery2
- G2 admin has same user name, email & password same as Drupal admin (real name field left empty, not used in drupal)
- Edit, upload and replace main. php
- Extract and upload lib. zip contents to gallery2/lib/
- Extract and upload g2drupal. zip contents to gallery2/modules/
- Install, configure and activate g2drupal under Gallery2 Plugins
- Upload a test photo to Gallery2.  Everything works great in standalone mode
- Configure g2drupal module in Drupal with path to Gallery2

This is where the installation process ends for me because Drupal doesn't think that my Drupal and Gallery installations are under the same root.

I've retried this process three times now.  Each time, I deleted the Gallery2 directory and emptyed the database used for Gallery2 and started over new.

What am I missing? What else can I try?

I really appreciate your work on this module and the support you provide.  I was a long time user of Gallery 2. 3 with Drupal 6 and was disappointed when Gallery was no longer supported in Drupal 7.  I'm so glad you did all of this work to make that possible.  I've decided to finally migrate to Drupal 7 because of your module.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

No idea as the code works for me. Someone else had a similar issue but it turned out they had entered something wrongly: http://capture360.net/g2drupal/problem-finding-gallery2-server-path/.

Make sure you have properly checked everything.
