Interesting behavior under Drupal.   Gallery 2 has its own breadcrumbs which work well.

However, disabling the Drupal breadcrumb is mixed.   You can disable g2drupal from updating it by disabling the URL Rewrite plugin under Gallery 2.   But using something like the "disable_breadcrumbs" module in Drupal to eliminate it entirely does not work for some reason.   With the core modules it works okay, as with phpbbforum (for example) but not g2drupal.

There is also an issue under URL Rewrite where there is a missing leading slash ("/") in breadcrumb URLs on albums that have spaces (and other characters?) in their names.   For example:

Album name:  "Test Album"

Breadcrumb contains URL:  ". . . gallery/main. php/vTest&20Album"
Breadcrumb SHOULD read: ". . . gallery/main. php/v/Test+Album"

Though adding just the missing slash works fine regardless of space (%20) or plus (+) in the URL.

On disabling the drupal breadcrumb.

There is an existing option to disable the g2 breadcrumb when within drupal even if ordinarily active in G2 but not for the drupal breabcrumb mainly because I wanted one in drupal.

I'll consider adding an option to do this as I can see that some might not want it.

Conclusion? Accepted.

Forgot to mention - User Albums can generate albums with spaces because the user name has a space in it. . .

Further testing confirms my original thoughts that having spaces in album names will always lead to problems in G2 irrespective of whether this module is in use or not.

In summary, you cannot have spaces in your album names in G2. Status changed back to "Not a bug, wont fix".

So of the items discussed here so far, the only one going forward is the option to disable the Drupal breadcrumb and this has been implemented for the next version from the current 0.9.5 to be released soon.
