The Strobist phenomenon is rolling on with Lighting 102 due to start on June 4.  Anyone taking part?

For those that don't know, Baltimore Sun Shooter, David Hobby, has created a cult of small strobe shooters with his Strobist blog and associated Flickr Group.

You just have to visit to catch the bug.  I will be trying my hand at the assignments he will be setting and recommend it.

Excellent Site with tons of info ;D ;D

This link will be very valuable to anyone, including myself, new to location lighting with strobes, more usable info than I have ever seen in any book, he not only tells the how but also the why to a lot of his techniques.

thank you Dayo for this link  :)

It's underway folks!

My Starving Student Lighting Kit arrived today..two days after the start date so well pleased.

Once I convinced the secret agent at the post office the honking Vivitar Flash didn't have night vision capabilities ???, I was free to go and didn't even have to pay customs!

Started plating with my SB800's and trying the gels Nion kindly included in the pack.  Unfortunately, the Rosco gel set that was supposed to be part of the Kit was missing.  Will make do with the Nikon supplied ones until they fall apart.

Any other strobists here?
