In your analysis you also need to take into account the laws of supply, demand and sales, any import taxes applied by the country of destination, as well as any trade agreements between the country of origin and destination.  Our $ may be weaker  than other markets but the demand due to the willingness of buyers may be greater.  Items may just sell in higher volume in the US allowing for lower profit margins, but if the prices were higher than the volume may drop to levels that would not allow for the same level of overall profit.  One important rule in sales; Sell at the highest level the market will bear, apparently that level is lower in the US and higher everywhere else.

Thanks for the reply.  However I still think that given the scale of the slump of the $, it should be be reflected in prices if there was no consideration of cross subsidies going on.
