Excellent job on the B/W conversion. The composition works well to lead into the main subject, especially with the out of focus foreground. I like the sharp contrast around the eye. Well done!
Don't even want to take a guess as to what creature it might be Wink

I think a little fill flash would have helped this one out. Maybe it would have added some detail in the shadows around the neck and back. I also don't like to crop out part of the subject as is the case here with the tail (could live with that) and feet (can't live with this one), kind of like showing a hand but cutting of the fingers. Now for some positive:), excellent point of focus and the depth of field does bring all the viewers attention to the subject, that part is well done.

I think it is the Yeti although it could be a camel. The shot has a great clarity that really appeals. I see why many like the Tamron 28-75.

Spooky lol. Colour noise is visible on the larger versions but the thumb really stands out.

It's the mad crane from the Watergarden! I just noticed, Ned, that he looks very much like you!!!

The image is nice and sharp and there is no hint of the wire fence. Well done.

I wonder how it would look if only half of the head was shown i.e one eye and one nostril with a bit trimmed off the bottom. I think that might give an even stronger composition

Nice tight composition. Was this shot on film?

He looks very friendly...just waiting to give a slobbering lick. Nice tight facial. Wonder how it will look in vertical orientation.

This has been affected by the harsh midday sun and I think would have been better if the shooter bent down a bit more.

Left to me, this would have been the winner! I find the colours pleasing and like how the focus is on the big eye.
