If anybody is getting an invalid amount error from moneybookers  for amounts under 1000 when using a currency like ZAR then you need to apply a similiar patch as in hxxp: addons. oscommerce. com/info/5200 to includes\modules\payment\moneybookers_gateway. php.  Has resolved my problem using this module.

Can you please send a copy of your modified file to "admin at this site's name" so I can review?

Thanks.

OK. Looked into the OSC suggestion and see what they are talking about.

Firstly, I think your post meant OVER 999.99 as in 1000 and above.

The issue is that the standard english system groups thousands by a comma such that 1000 is 1,000 and this is what the current code defaults to.

However, the Moneybookers API falls over when it sees the comma sign (Thinks text has been entered instead of a number and rejects it).

The alternative suggested presents the number without the thousands separator to avoid this.

The suggested code will only work in english locales however and can cause issues for people using other decimal point separators. I expect though that Moneybookers is fine with the english format so probably not an issue and the suggestion can be used as is.

I'll investigate further and update the code accordingly.

Thanks

Hi Dayo

Have emailed the file, and yes I made a mistake in my original post, should have said  invalid amounts over 999. 99, sigh.
Strange thing was that I found that even if I removed the comma as  the thousand seperator (as its not our custom in South Africa anyway), the problem still occurs.

Thanks for all your efforts!

Cheers

So in SA, you find it easier to read 10000000 over 10,000,000? :)

Anyway, not so strange as I suspect you removed the separator in the ZC Admin which is not related to this issue.

Well we don't generally have that much of anything.  :) We tend to use spaces to seperate thousands, so that would be 10 000 000, its odd but it helps to make the planet more interesting.

And yes when I first found the problem was amount related I thought  ZC admin might help but thats probably just for display.
