Thanks for the help earlier I downloaded your new files and I got the install to work proper but having a problem with sales tax now.
The problem is when module is activated and it links with Zen Cart I can't get it to mark images as Taxable Item by default.  Even though I have it set up under Item Type in the Product General.  There are no setting under Product Gallery.  I can only see that it is a sub cat under Products General.  When I upload several thousand images I can't change each one to taxable individually.
What am I doing wrong?
If I go in ZC and add a product the taxable is already marked, it is just the images from G2 that aren't.

Thanks in advance.

Glad that the new files sorted you out.  I'll never understand people are several had downloaded those files before you did and must have had the same issues but there wasn't a peep from anyone.

On your issue, I think you need to make product gallery taxable. I don't use taxes so not totally sure how it works. Probably involves doing one item manually and applying to all the others as a default.

Have a look here.  If that doesn't work, then go to the ZC forum and ask for how to make items added to a new category taxable.

Remember to return to post the answer when you sort it out.

My Quick fix I found at
http:www. zen-cart. com/forum/showthread. php?t=131808      (post#8)
it changes every Item to taxable.
In ZC under Item Types every choice except Product_Gallery Item has options under the (Edit Layout) tab.    I am not a php wiz but am trying to figure it out.

Thanks for all your help

Did you try the steps in the link I posted earlier?

I tried those steps and there is no options listed after clicking the edit layout in the Product_gallery item type.  There are options under every other type, and tax default about 1/2 way down.
Another question I have is there any way to change the prices on all the images say in one new category all at once.  Not 1 at a time.

Hi Bob

I think know what is happening. I'll try to fix that by tomorrow.

I figured out the pricing question from my earlier post about changing pricing on multiple images.  Was not looking at all the buttons good enough in Attribute Controller page in ZC.

The more I work with ZC and Gallery the more I find they can do.

I just have to get past the learning curve of both Gallery2 and Zen Cart.  I might have hope yet.

Thanks for all the great help.

Yes, there is a learning curve as both are full applications with a lot of features.

As for the taxable category issue, sorry but I can't deal with that right now as I have some other pressing things to do. You will have to run the quick fix for a while.
