This is more of a letterbox crop than the original to home in on the detail of the moving water. Taken at Padley Gorge in Derbyshire a week last Sunday. I'm trying to get movement through the frame with this and fill the frame with that line of movement.


Can't remember if it was this shot, but for one I was sat on a sloping rock, feet on another in front and my tripod between my legs in the river. If I'd have sneezed I would have had a wet bum for the rest of the day!

This is very well executed. Only thing missing is the obligatory rust coloured leaf on the rock in the foreground whether it is Autumn or not.

Yeah, bit difficult to find rust coloured leaves in spring. Went with dappled sunlight instead. Smile

Wonderfully executed, especially using the SS to get the flowing water effect. Beautiful lighting. Maybe a bit of cloning(bright green spot, red twig) would remove some small distractions, but otherwise well done.
