I liked the position of the chair within the upper level, inner chamber of the sculpture Basket #7 at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I liked the contrast between the hard brutal form of the cage wall and the softer organic forms of the trees outside. I felt it represented the continual isolation man is building between himself and the natural world. Once man is no more his influence will still have an effect on the world for many years after his departure.
I'll have to stop there as I feel I'm starting to spout enough pretentious cr*p to be a modern artist myself.
